Community recovery is a collective effort rooted in care, connection, and mutual support. As part of our commitment to community dignity, our Community Recovery Circles offer safe, intentional spaces for neighbors to process shared challenges, restore hope, and fortify lasting community ties together.
Community Recovery Circles in the Eliot Arts Community
A Community Recovery Circle is a restorative, peer-centered space grounded in deep listening and mutual respect. Rather than a traditional support group, these circles use dignity-infused practices to center community wisdom, honor lived experiences, and disrupt isolation.
Whether navigating personal recovery, collective trauma, neighborhood loss, or systemic barriers, these sessions allow us to heal in relationship with one another.
What is a Community Recovery Circle?
When you enter a recovery circle hosted by our Dignity Team, you can count on an environment built on:
Trauma-Informed & Restorative Spaces: Facilitated with care to ensure emotional safety, non-judgment, and absolute confidentiality.
Shared Leadership: No single expert holds the room. Every voice carries equal weight and value.
Holistic Healing: We honor emotional, spiritual, mental, and community wellbeing.
Voluntary Participation: Speak when you feel moved, or simply sit in supportive silence. You are welcome as you are.
